Dave,

Good luck and speedy recovery after surgery. FWIW, back pains forced me to retire early and I have three disc that are bulging but I really am scared of the surgeries on the spine and refuse to do it I'm a chicken, what can I say.

David, I didn't mean to discourage you at all. I'm sure you will do great and it will be successfull surgery. They got to be pretty routine this days,I'm just a chicken when it comes to any surgeries
Even rootcanal gives me shivers.
We'll be pulling for you on Reefland

Good Luck! Seems they are making more and more progress towards fixing back problems. At least according to shows I see on TV.

Welcome back Dave, glad to see you made it so quickly. That was very nice of your wife to set you up with your keyboard.

Best of luck,

Morphine,Perocet,Celebrex,Neurontin. The pharmacy did not have the Morphine though, they told my Wife that is a controlled substance,so I will have to suffer through tonight. It will be a lengthy recovery, but I have been up and walking some with a walker.Thank you all for the kind words.

Has anyone had this done before? I have been fighting a infection and seem to be having more problems than I should have.

A few years ago I Broke my back in a few places and shattered a Vertabrea. They did the fusion on my back. My back is fused from T-12 thru L-5 which is between my shoulder blades all the way down to the top of my rear!
I didnt have any complications with mine. I was in extreme pain though. It will get better.
Hope you feel better soon.....
Matt
