hey guys i recently bought a slurp gun about 2 feet long they said it was one of the best because it doesnt harm the fish as much. well i took it down to the keys i could catch any fish with it. My question is does anyone know how to use them? is there some sort of trick to it like baiting fish or what? the gun sure did work but al it slurped was water. thanks J

I dont like them....I just use a net that has clear plastic sides and a mesh bottom....slurp guns work ok if your after small fish that like to go into holes into rocks like gobys you can usually slurp them out IF the hole is not too deep. IMO slurp guns are just another bulky item to carry on a dive and usually is not worth it, here again this should all be taken into consideration w/ the local and governing jurisdictions.

Where did you get your net from? I'm having a hard time finding one with the clear sides.
