Cool!

I think its amazing how calm and tame beardies are...

I once handled a Nile monitor and he was the biggest Piece of Sh!T I've ever met, he was so evil...I still remember when he tried to bite my hand....

Loki, cool name!
One of my neighbors is from Norway, he has Siberian Huskies as I did.
One of them is named Odin (he told me that in Norse mythology Loki is a giant and the trickster God of Mischief and Cunning. He is the blood brother to Odin. Odin is the God of War, if I remember it right).
The other dog is Gondul (he told me he is one of the most famous Valkyries, sent to earth to bring back the spirits of famous kings who fall in battle)
The third one is Thor (God of Thunder - and fertility?)
Their kennel has a sign over the entrance reading: Valhalla

Cool names, I really like them.

Wow! you now your norse mythology

I actually think loki is actually spelled loke atleast thats the way we spell it in norway...???

did you know that Odin had two Ravens? Their named Hugin and Munin one hears and one sees and they both report back to Odin and sit on his shoulders.

Odin has only one eye because he traded his other eye for a drink of the "Wisdom creek or lake(??)".

I dont think Thor is the god of fertility, thats supposed to be some woman who is strikingly beautiful.
Thor has a hammer wich i uses to create lightning with, the hammer is named Mjølner.

thats mostly what i remember.... I still remember my hippie teacher from elementary school telling me about it......

Not without help of my norge neighbor, Mr. Ulf Sørensen

I have been to Epcot Center if that counts, and bought a Troll figure there!!

But I have also been to Oslo last september, remember I mentioned the reef tank at the Kon Tiki Museum? you gave me the link of your friend, the one who set up that tank. I will scan a pic of that tank in case anyone is curious about it.

Sounds reasonable about the fertility.
I remember Mighty Thor as a cartoon character from the 60's (I think it's a Marvel Comics character), they aired it on TV when I was a child:

You are right! I just looked it up on the Internet:

Freyja is the goddess of beauty, love and fertility.

Sounds good!

I dont know when you come back to Oslo, but if its after september/october the shop should be finished in its new location...

here's a Link to the store..

Its not that big, but the quality is superrior to anything I've ever seen.
Also, I talked to the owner the other day(Roy) and he tells me that their gonna import corals and fish from Oceans, reefs, and aquariums soon.

Oslo is not on the list this year

I'm leaving tomorrow to Europe though. I will be in Slovenia, Germany, Austria and Italy, will be back mid September.
I can be happy that temps are going down already!

Hey Thomas! I will be in Oslo for 2 days this year, I will arrive TODAY at about 3 PM, I will check in at the Rainbow Hotel (I think that is the name). I will try to e-mail you my German cellphone number now, I am on a wi-fi connection from my iPaq, I am not sure if my e-mail will work.
Sorry for letting you know with no time in advance, but this is how my trips in Europe are like...I was in Denmark yesterday, right now I am in Sweden, and in a few hours The next stop is Norway. After 2 days in Oslo I have to leave to Poland, and then back to Germany.
Anyways, I will e-mail you my cellphone number now, if I cant, please try to leave me a message at the hotel, I will register as Joaquin Meier.
Hope to see you! I have a meeting tuesday morning, but I am free all monday and tuesday afternoon as well.
