Whats the deal with avatars? I see the option in my user profile, yet I cannot access it.
Does it have to do with the no. of posts, or what? Tankuberrymuch!  |

Currently they are only available to Moderators and Contributing Members.
 There was a poll that ran on their inclusion some time ago but the results were inconclusive (not many votes). Scott Z. |

Contributing Member is a status that we give our members who make a paypal donation to support our site. Reefland is a non-profit community who's sole supprt comes from our Sponsors, Contributing Members and my pocket. Recently we started accepting paypal donations as a source for support as requested by some of our members. Contributing Members get the use of avatars, another small image under thier name showing the status and a few other minor perks.
