I dont know how you could do that or if you could do that as I am computer STUPID , but could'nt you put the homepage you want in your favorites list ? It would be one click instead of one keystroke , but still easier than resetting everyday.
I want to create a registry key that will re-set my Internet Explorer home page. Then I want to put this into my Startup folder so that it is run each time I start up. Basically, my employer re-sets my IE home page to our boring intranet home page everyday when I login. I'm tired of it. I want something that will automatically run at startup and switch it back. I think this is possible but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone walk me through it?
As a nation, you're faced with the choice of taking over the world or offering good eats at reasonable prices.

In this hobby patience is not a virtue,,,,,its mandatory.
Yes I can do that if all else fails. I'd like to avoid seeing the company intranet page if possible though. Just seeing it ticks me off. I can also avoid it by using Netscape instead of IE, which is what I've been doing (the Netscape homepage doesn't get reset when I log in). But Netscape is kind of buggy.Originally Posted by the_blue_tuna
