howdy all, i need to spray my house; one of my dogs has become infested with fleas. can I bomb the house? Or should just spray? I have an 85 hexagon with sump. Should it be wrapped? thanks for any info.

Yes you can bomb, but you need to turn off all circulation, and cover all water with wet towels (probably at least 2 thick)...And since it's a hex, you might even be able to fit a large trash bag over it for extra security. I don't think a powerhead inside the tank would be a problem, but anything moving the water into or out of the tank will be a problem. You want to avoid gas exchange with the treated air.

Just for the record... you say "One of your dogS" ... If you have one dog with fleas, and you have more than one dog, then you have more than one dog with fleas. Period, fleas are just not that kind as to stay on just one animal.... They will be in your carpet, your furniture, wherever your dog sleeps/plays/goes to the bathroom etc.

I strongly recommend the use of one of the very effective preventative flea meds on the market, like Advantage (it works, I've used it on my cats) or Frontline, or Revolution..... If you don't want to go to the vet and do all the hoo-ha that is involved, you can order these items online... There's a place I use in Australia, they're very good, and you don't have to have a prescription!
