more pics.

These are pics on my property where I live

I have a 10hp generator wired right to my breaker panel....Yes I know, the main power breaker is turned off so when power is restored I dont have a fire.

Here you can see trees snapped in half but if you look close some blew one way the others the other way, Im pretty sure this is a sign of a twister

notice how this tree snapped but is twisted.

P.S. these are pretty big trees

That which does not break me will only make me stronger!

My insurance and FEMA will be covering most if not Everything...I have such a great feeling of community love and togetherness right now that I feel like I could overcome ANYTHING! There are LOTS of others that are much more unfortunate than me!

hurricanes are amazingly devestating.. much more so that a twister....

the oddest stuff.. like that badcock picture.. that truck is just flipped over.. but he windows on the store are ok...
if you were down here... the sites like that are the most amazing....
4 houses in a row will just be gone.. then the 5th looks as if it barely rained on it.......... you really have to see this devistation in person to really see and understand how extremely odd it is..........
Good luck rocky!!!!

If you need someone to come down there and help with cleanup or basically anything I could for sure justify a road trip for ya man. I know you most likely wouldnt ask for anything but please let me know if you need some help. I could make it there in a little over 7 hours from NC so man if you need me I'm there.

This is Rocky's core belief system. He cares more about the health and well being of others than himself. He'd give you the shirt off his back, the tent he was living in or his last frag if he thought you needed it worse than he.

And, besides that, he's a great guy to hang with.

Rocky, I just saw this thread but when I heard and watched about the hurricane last week I knew the name Port Charlotte stuck in my mind for some reason. OMG, now I remember why, you lived there. Thankfully, you and your family are ok as well as pug dog.

I am long distance but if there is anything a fellow texan can do for ya, please let me know.

Take care,

Rocky,
You guys are all right, that's all that matters. If I could I'd be down there helping you out and not typing this "hope you get well soon" note. I'm glad to hear you had everything insured.

You know something, the green house looks a lot more greener now then it did before

Good luck man, you got my e-mail let me know if you need anything.
