Unhappy Who else is watching men's basketball right now?

I can't believe what I am seeing. The "Dream Team" trailed Puerto Rico by 22 at the half and by 17 at the end of the third quarter. This was supposed to be an easy win.

Maybe they will come back but if they do I will be surprised. They appear to be lost!

Final score: P.R. 92, U.S.A. 73.

It was a blowout!

P.S. -- Carlos Arroyo was terrific! Unfortunately he was playing for Puerto Rico.

That was a horrible display of talent. At least it was just a Prelim game.

Now the Men's Volleyball that's on right now, that is a bit more like it.

Typical comments in the sports press:

(08-15) 16:11 PDT ATHENS, Greece (AP) --

This loss went beyond ugly, beyond history.

Try humiliating, humbling, an Olympic-sized ego-bruiser.

Puerto Rico's no-name, no-rep team put the biggest hurt on a U.S. men's basketball team since the sport came into the Summer Games in 1936 -- a 92-73 wallop Sunday night that rattled the gold chains and diamonds of the cocky NBA stars who thought they could stroll on the court and win.

The Americans shot as if they were tossing around a beachball, passed as if they were aiming at fans in the crowd, played defense as if they had never heard of the concept. They watched Puerto Rico's Carlos Arroyo do magic tricks with the ball -- faking one way, going the other, scoring 24 points, handing out seven assists -- and couldn't come close to stopping him. He's a good player, heir to John Stockton for the Utah Jazz, but on this night he was magnificent.
