It looks kinda kewl tho..... but ... is that some sort of fancy tinfoil covering something else maybe? Pics are a little dark, and my monitor is dying, so that just makes me even blinder... (is blindER a word in this context?? lol)

yes.....
it is lace patterns painted on to the grey base.. they are gold.....

there will be more patterns called fades painted in and around the rest of it.... then silve metal flake over that.. then what is called a Kandy tangerine......

it is a transparent paint.....

the tangerine will be 3 different colors... the grey, the gold, and the silver flake will all make the tangerine appear to be a different color.. then it will prolly be pinstripped in white............

Is the tank the only thing being painted or are the fenders and what-not too?

I'm a motor cycle junkie also. It's gonna be a beautiful bike.
Started on Dirt Bikes, learned to ride. Raced a KX60, Big Wheel 80, 125 and finally a KX 250. The 250 class was insane so I got out of that and bought my first street bike. CBR f4, less than a year into that I got caught in the rain and high sided it. Bought an 02 f4I when they were coming out, awesome bike but had to sell. Couldn't afford insurance on that and my 02 silverado at the time. This hobby has consumed what little cash I have extra so I haven't bought another one. I figure I'll buy sport bikes until I can't handle em mentally anymore then move on up to a harley or something...anyway keep us posted.

hell yeah.. i love sport bikes.. i would love to have a BUSA

but i really like the naked sport bikes...
My favorite is the Kawasaki Z1000. the orange one with orange wheels....

i also like the Suzuki SV1000... they had and 03 copper one for sale over here new for 5999.00
i was thinking of trying to get it..... but blah..
I like Harleys alot. i started out on a Kawasaki Vulcan 800 to cut my teeth... everybody i knew who rode was on cruisers, so thats why i went with one....

this is a bad pic of me and my put together bike... but here is what it is..

i hate this pic.. i aint tryin to say im not big.. but the wind has my shrit really really puffed out....

For Sportbikes I'm a honda guy and would never go with something bigger than 1000cc. The 600's are perfect for me cause I really enjoy the turns...especially in the Ozark Mountains where I was raised. But if I was gonna go with a Cruiser type bike it would have to be a Jesse James type chopper. I'll try to dig up some pics of my bikes.
