Good golf forums?

Anybody know of any? My brother in law is looking to get a new set of irons but cant more then $150. He was considering some Adams Golf Tight Lies as you can get a brand new set on ebay for less then $100. Any comments would be great.

Might be a little late on this one....Forget the new sets because you get what you pay for. There are so many people out there spending thousands of dollars on golf clubs every years. You'd be shocked how many people think a new set of clubs will make them a better golfer, It has to be the club, not the idiot swinging it

As the new sets come out and or Tiger changes clubs people follow, then they sell their old club. You can buy a good used set for a fraction of the cost. I always suggest to people to buy used clubs to start. This way the get a well built set and don't have to pay an arm and a leg.

FWIW, I've been playing golf for 40 years, I've owened 4 sets of irons, I've used the same putter for the last 20 years.

I've never held one in my hand but I'm sure he'll like em....Just tell him what my grandfather used to tell me " its not the club, its the idiot swinging the club" we played golf together a lot way back when I was a kid.
