From San Francisco:

Monday afternoon, Supervisor Aaron Peskin spotted deputy marriage commissioner Richard Ow doing what he often does -- solemnizing the union of a young couple under San Francisco City Hall's majestic dome.

Just as Ow was hitting the critical "do you's," a cell phone went off. The tuxedoed groom calmly reached into his pocket, pulled out the phone, and, putting it to his ear, calmly said, "I'm right in the middle of something. Can I call you back?"

I hope the call wasn't from one of his old girlfriends who didn't know about his wedding. One would think that most of his close friends and relatives would have been aware of this event.

Isn't that the truth, if he went ahead with the "I Do's" I think she would be wasting her next phone call to him!!

I'm sure I'll get some groans from the ladies on this site for this but......If I was a businessman and my business depended on me answering that phone. I'd do it in the middle of anyones wedding including my own....
