What's the point unless I have something worthwhile adding to what others have responded with.
I don't have questions normally as I prefer to figure out for myself what I need to know. Hopefully I remember longer that way.
To engage in conversation when the other party is not in front of me, is not a conversation, IMO.
Are you trying to get the number of threads, or posts increased more for some reason?

Sure! What's the point of having a Discussion Forum if no one is discussing anything.
