Florida here I come!
OK I am going to St Augustine, FL on thursday and will be there for a week maybe. I have Family that calls FL home so I come down to Jacksonville and St Augustine area at least once a year. Anyone live near one of these cities that can tell where to check out LFS or public aquaiums ect. I know Rocky ( Scubadude) lives in southern Fl but is there anyone in northern FL? I will be spending most of my time in St Aug' but Jack' is only 45 min' away. So it nothing to me to get there. I will be staying in the same small beach house on A1A Beach Drive.
Thanks, Martin

Unfortunately, most of the fish we display in St A is on a plate.
I shudder to think what Marineland might offer these days, it's changed hands so often but who knows, it might be open. Go to Gypsy Cab Co. and have the Gypsy Chicken before you leave town. Get the house dressing! Go to the Conch Hut enjoy the sunset and try the Minorcan Clam Chowder. Hit up O'steens for the fried shrimp. (order takeout!!!...you'll see) ![]() Columbia Restaurant is a must go...either one Ybor's or St A's Only decent LFS is in Jax and it rotates as to who has best stock, not that great lately. Daytona area might have some frag action.

Hey thanks for the info. I have been to the Conch Hut one of the place I will be eating at. Never been to Gypsy Cab Co or the Columbia Restaurant. but I will give them a try. I will also hit Mary's dinner for breakfast once, if it is still there by the Monteray Inn. As for MarineLand goes, the last two years I have come down they have been closed. I have only been there once in the last 8 years I have been coming down. Thanks again, Martin PS I WILL BE THERE IN THE MORN'!
