Inflation
Ok is it just me or has everyone basically noticed prices are going up everywhere on things. Gas, was the kicker but other things have followed suit, of course there are alot of things that w/out gas they wouldnt be as easy to make? PVC, Cement, wood are just a few things I have noticed lately the prices going up on, im sure there are more things. What have you guys noticed as far as prices going up in your area? Arent we (US) getting an increase in minimum wage in June?

ive noticed a lot of things in the cincinnati area going up in price following the footsteps of gasoline, but maybe not as extreme. im sure alot of it has to do with companies raising the prices to ship their items due to the high cost of gasoline.

We are headed for some serious inflation while the economy catches up to fuel costs. Everything you have ever bought in your life has transport involved, and it just moves up the chain. From your examples, pvc is petroleum based I believe, and a lot of diesel machinery is used to cut, transport, and process wood/ cement.
