Thumbs up A Big Thanks To Schorcat!

I just wanted to say thanks to Schorcat for the info on entertainment and dinning for the ST A area. I have been going to St Augustine/Coco Beach/Melbourne FL every year now since 1996 but this was the best time I have ever had down there! Despite the weather did not work for many plans we still had a great time. The WIND was outrageous. It blew and blew, we did not git to go off shore fishing but had good luck fishing St Augustine pier for trout and pompano!
We also missed out in scuba diving due to weather. I did get to wake sail it was awesome! my buddy Dave drove up from Melbourne and showed me the ropes and by the second day I had it down! So we spent 3 mornings doing this! The places that Schorcat told us to go out to where also the best yet! I can not belive that I have not been to a few of them.

South Beach Grill I give A 9 out of 10
The Columbian get at 10 Hands down The stuffed pompano WOW!
The Conch House is also a 10 bring me the chowder! to bad the wind was so bad that we could not sit out in the huts! Damn Wind!
The Beach Comber was ok I would give it a 7 out of 10 but I had a great time watching alot of morons getting stuck in the sand with thier front wheel drive cars trying to get on the beach !!!!

Any ways here are a few pics and again a big thanks to Schorcat!

Martin

The 1st two pic Dave and I Wake surfing/Sailing or what ever its called again Dave could tell us.
The third pic is my ugly mug at the Conch House.
The last was a view off the pier when we where fishing! In the BLOODY WIND!

No problem!

Next time you come down...I got a bunch more. We're lucky to have the chefs around here that we do.
The Chowder at the Hut is unreal. They call those seats "pods" I believe, and they are not forgiving in high wind!

The dang wind is still blowing btw.

Good waves!

Wow I would of thought that the wind would of stopped by now! I talk to my buddy Dave in Melbourne today and he said the same. I also see that you guys will be getting some rain today and the next few days. Hopfully the sun will come backout soon since they do call it the sunshine state.
