Rush Limbaugh's take on drug users:
Rush Limbaugh Show, 10-13-95
... Story number two: St. Paul, Minnesota. A state legislator, a Democrat, spent hours driving drunk around Minnesota on Wednesday, threatening to kill himself with a BB gun and talking by--and--talking by car phone to people who begged him to stop and get help for his alcoholism. Name is Bob Johnson. Democrats, threatening to kill themselves with a BB gun, getting drunk. Here--a guy who had been cited, who had been recognized for his great work in alcohol and drug abuse is drunk on the highways. This is just--it's tragic, but it's just--it's outrageously funny. And he is just the latest in a series of Democratic legislators in Minnesota accused of crimes including shoplifting, spouse abuse and insurance fraud. Conflict resolution, Democrats and all their good social works, and still, look at what ha--it just--it's--it's hypocrisy. ... Rush Limbaugh Show, December 16, 1994 So we're not going to get on--we don't fault these animals for a lack of discipline, but we get on human beings who are fat for lack of discipline and you know it and I know it. But here's the thing that struck me about this. We have alcoholics and drug addicts in our society, don't we? And what do we say about them? Well, they can't help it. Why, it's genetic. Why, they have a disease. Why, put one thimbleful of scotch in front of them and they can die.' We totally exempt them from any control over their lives, do we not? Some athlete will spend two years snorting lines of coke. He can't help it.' You know, it's--it's just--it's not--it's--it's genetic. These people--they're predisposed to having this addictive syndrome. They--they can't help--yeah, like that line of cocaine just happened to march into the hotel, go up to the athlete's room and put itself right there in front of him on his blotter. They--they--they can't do this to--to--me! Don't they know--who--who--I am?!? Wha--wha--what do these--these--act--act--activist judges think they're do--do--doing here? I mean, wha--wha--what about my wedding plans? Wha--wha--what will the fourth Mrs. Limbaugh think about some--some--something like--like--th--this? This is--it's--it's outrageous, that's wha-wha-what it is!

Famous words from Rush Limbaugh:
This is just--it's tragic, but it's just--it's outrageously funny.

It's not like he can argue "right to privacy" when the Constitution doesn't grant any rights to privacy. That's just a figment of the imagination of all those activist judges on the Supreme Court. That's how they came up with that evil Roe v. Wade decision. Once we get some strict constructionist judges on the Supreme Court, we can reverse all those evil right-to-privacy rulings.
Sorry, OxyContin Boy, no right to privacy for you! ![]()

I'm gonna start calling him Oxy man from now on.
In spite of his juvenile blubberings, he will be charged as an adult. ![]()

He's still insisting that the whole thing is a liberal conspiracy to embarrass him. There's nothing to it. Everybody uses four different doctors to write prescriptions for 2,000 OxyContin pills in a six month period. He has a lot of pain to manage.
The hilarious part of this whole situation is that his legal arguments are based entirely on the right to privacy, something that he has always claimed does not exist in the Constitution. It was a fabrication of the Supreme Court in 1973 in that evil Roe v. Wade decision.

"Nobody wants their intimate medical problems broadcast to the state. I mean, it's the ultimate invasion of privacy," -- Limbaugh's attorney.
Gee, I wonder if they're going to publish pictures of his "disability?" You know, the one that made him 4F. ![]()

Obviously Rush enjoys playing the part of persecuted martyr for the cause. Which is what, exactly? What's the "cause?" Is he standing up for the rights of all drug addicts or just those in his income bracket?
He would be wise to accept the deal the prosecutor has already offered him and move on. (HaHa! Move On, get it? Oh, you did? Yeah, it was pretty lame, wasn't it.) :slap:

Yep.
That's probably the best deal he could have hoped for under the circumstances. Now he gets nothing, and will possibly have to testify against his doctors if he hopes to shorten his "hotel" stay. What a gross miscalculation. He needs to hire the Klayman Law Firm They seem to sheppard all sorts of unusual Pardon requests... ![]()

Rush...better start lifting weights dude.
The handoff...
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A judge gave some of Rush Limbaugh's medical records to prosecutors Wednesday, allowing their long-stalled investigation into whether the conservative commentator illegally purchased painkillers to move forward. Circuit Court Judge Thomas Barkdull III returned other of Limbaugh's records to his attorney, Roy Black, who had argued some of the records contained privileged, even embarrassing, details about medical procedures, symptoms and other issues unrelated to the criminal investigation. None of the records' contents were revealed. After the hearing, Black said he believed the records given to the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office would not support a criminal charge. Limbaugh has maintained his innocence throughout the investigation, which became public in November 2003 after investigators used search warrants to seize his medical records. "The records show that Mr. Limbaugh received legitimate medical treatment for legitimate medical reasons," Black said in a statement. Prosecutors seized the records after learning Limbaugh received painkillers from four doctors in six months at a Palm Beach pharmacy near his oceanfront mansion. They have said the records will prove Limbaugh engaged in "doctor shopping," or illegally deceiving multiple doctors to receive overlapping prescriptions. "The review of those records now goes forward in earnest," the state attorney's office said in a statement. Limbaugh acknowledged an addiction to pain medication, attributing it to severe back pain, and took a five-week leave from his radio show to enter a rehabilitation program in October 2003. The medical records have remained sealed since investigators seized them because Limbaugh appealed, arguing the seizure violated his privacy rights. He lost at the circuit and appellate court levels, and the Florida Supreme Court declined to hear the case. The appeals, however, put off the investigation for more than 19 months. Limbaugh has accused Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer, a Democrat, of a "fishing expedition" that's politically motivated. The state attorney's office declined further comment and gave no indication how long the investigation would take.

So he was a Public Affairs Officer in Fallujah. Fallujah isn't exactly a Sandals resort in the Caribbean. And I'm not so sure dealing with the locals in Fallujah is something Rush would be willing to risk his 4F-enabling rear end on. The guy was a practicing attorney and a major in the Marine Reserves. He VOLUNTEERED for active duty in Iraq!!!! When was the last time Rush or Dick Cheney or Karl Rove or Newt Gingrich volunteered for military service? Rush is a disgrace to the human race. Here's the transcript: RUSH: Clark in Houston, you're next on the EIB Network. Hello. CALLER: Good afternoon, Rush. It's an absolute pleasure and honor to speak with you today. RUSH: Thank you, sir. CALLER: Well, as an active duty Navy lieutenant, I've had the opportunity to work side by side with many Marines, and I tell you if all this is true, this is about as inconsistent as you can get with the ideals that are upheld by the Marine Corps, and I'd like to hear from anyone that has served with this guy to see what kind of Marine he was. RUSH: Well, that I don't know. The only thing I've heard is that he was in the -- well, let me find it. He was in the Civilian Affairs Unit, and this is a Washington Post story (it says here) from July 30th. "A lawyer and a major in the Marine reserves, Hackett volunteered last year to serve in Iraq and spent seven months there in the civilian affairs job, including service around Ramadi and Fallujah. He returned to Ohio in March, decided to jump into the race for Portman's seat, seeking to become the first Iraq war veteran elected to Congress." So he volunteered to serve, spent seven months in a civilian affairs job. What is that, since you're -- did you say you're a Marine? CALLER: I'm in the Navy, sir, Navy lieutenant. RUSH: Navy. What is a civilian affairs job? You tell me. CALLER: Civilian affairs is just basically a public affairs job where they interact with the civilian authorities from a military perspective. It's a military liaison, if you will. RUSH: Oh, it's a military liaison. Is it a combat position or not? CALLER: Negative. It is not a combat position. RUSH: Okay. CALLER: I just can't get over how... You know, Marines from day one, whether reserves or active duty, are taught to uphold the ideals of honor and courage and commitment, and not to mention the way he was so disrespectful to someone who was very recently his commander-in-chief. RUSH: You mean by calling him an SOB? CALLER: Yes. RUSH: Well, he's out now. He can do whatever he wants. CALLER: "Once a Marine, always a Marine." Isn't that what they say? That doesn't mean all those things that you learned... Those things are supposed to stay with you and it doesn't seem like -- he either never had them in the first place or he's not being true and have any integrity like you've already mentioned. RUSH: Okay, call him a staff puke if that's what you want, but civilian affairs, staff puke. Bottom line is he's running a fraudulent, deceptive campaign, and the Democrats are saying this is a bellwether election. We've got two instances of huge fraud being perpetrated here, and I'm bound and determined they're not going to get away with this, whether the guy wins or not, they're not going to get away with mis-portraying the results of this when the whole campaign has been one of total fraud and lying and deceit, fooling people. Crooks & Liars has the audio of that last paragraph where Rush calls a Marine Corps Major who volunteered for duty in Iraq a "staff puke." Rush Limbaugh calls Hackett a "staff puke" Here's the audio of Rush doing his thing: Audio-MP3 "Civilian affairs staff puke!" P.S. -- Why does Rush studder so much? It's hard to follow him sometimes. Does snorting OxyContin cause that?

Rush's favorite candidate:
![]() Jean Schmidt Or this guy: ![]() Paul Hackett You can follow the election results live here. P.S. -- Schrocat, Jean Schmidt is the one who has Spankin' Joe Braun as her campaign manager! If she loses, her campaign manager can get out his whips and dog collars and practice his hobby. It should make them both feel much better. Heck, I'm sure he'd be willing to give it a go win or lose. And he wouldn't have to place those revealing personal ads. ![]()
