Where would you go?

If you were near Indy and wanted to take a short trip for a night or two somewhere, 3-4 hours away, where would you go??

Is that the same Indy that's 301.83 miles from Cedar Point?

Woooooo, don't think I could handle that! We are thinking about Chicago and going to the Sears tower one evening and to the Shedd Aquarium.

Man I'm with Schrocat on this one! Cedar Point is an AWESOME place to go! However Shedd sounds cool, in a more passive OLDER kinda way! I can't wait till the kids get TALL enough to enjoy cedar point, that place ROCKS!

Having lived in the Chicago area since 1993, I can say that it is definately the best place to go! Brookfield Zoo is also an excellent place to visit in addition to Shedd. They have a good aquatic section and the new baby gorilla just went on display! The Adler Planetarium, Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, and Navy Pier are a few more very cool and unique places to go. Good luck!

i just got back from cedar point, and if you've never been there its worth the trip. especially if you have kids (8yrs and older). just dont stay st the breakers resort it's around $270.00 a night and the rooms that aren't a suite are like staying at motel 6, with the only ammenity being you get into the park 1 hr earlier. how far are you from pigeon forge, tennessee they have a ripleys believe it or not aquarium thats about 1.5 milion gal.
