As of yesterday evening Murphy USA and Shell Gas stations were at $2.89 a gallon for regular. Diesel and Premium were thirty cents more.
Get a motorcycle! Mine is saving me plenty at the moment.

WHAM! regular spiked to 3.19 last night, the good stuff was as high as 3.75

3.25 now... I'd put good money on 4.00 by the weekend.

I'm down to two decisions...
1. 800cc or 1100cc.
2. Shaft drive or chain

Early this week I filled up @ 2.54, and it cost me $40. That is only a 16 gallon tank, good thing I only work 2 miles from home, if I still worked in Saginaw (100 mile round trip) I would have to call in BROKE!

Mike, it costed me 60 bucks to fill up my beast at 2.57 for the cheap gas and now will probably run me good 80 bucks at the 3.35 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. I agree with schrocat that it most likely will hit 4.00 by weekend and probably good 5.00 by late fall, if not sooner.

I don't like motorcycles but i will shell out good cash for a nice horse...
