Question Do you live in a Red state or a Blue state?

Check the link below to see where your state stands on Bush's overall job approval in the 11/17/05 Poll conducted by Survey USA:

http://www.surveyusa.com/50State2005...byApproval.htm

Or, you could simply look at the new map below:

I am in a BLUE State for sure! I'll bet OHIO is kicking itself in the AR$$. I still am in shock about that blue collar state voting in GW. What were they THINKING?

Even Jeb's state is all blue now...
Well, I'm in the dark blue, according to the map and it;s not that surprizing to me. NJ were always voting blue, part of the reason I don't want to move anywhere.

I would love to discuss issues with you George, but I feel discussing politics over a medium such as the internet is worthless as you know what on a boar hog. I would rather discuss this subject face to face, because as you well know, you can call anybody anything when you don't have to look them in the face.

If "discussing" politics is so stressful, you should try NOT reading these threads. How difficult is that?

Are red and blue my only choices? I have a few other words I would like to use to describe Louisiana.

NINONG - god bless you - allways stirring it up in here.
WI is blue - I stood in line for 4 + hrs debating the likelihood of my discrete math professor accepting my homework late, and thinking about who would have what to gain by making people wait 4hrs to vote... something about old people being more likely to vote red and more likely to have 4hrs during midday to stand in line and vote. Well I voted and I'd stand in line for four hours again if I had too. And yet we have a president who thinks people in mexico speak mexican... go figure. The wold is brimming with morons, is it really a surprise that they want a moron representing them?

Mistermikev,

"And yet we have a president who thinks people in Mexico speak Mexican"

Well even Bush knows that Mexicans speak Spanish; I believe that he speaks passable Spanish.

Now if he used the term Mexican as referring a Mexican dialect that is certainly true.

Many Spaniards who speak Castilian Spanish would argue that many Mexicans in fact don't speak Spanish.

Bush is such an easy target because he is so inarticulate, he really is not as dumb as he come off.

I have "lots" of issues with various Bush policies but writing him off as an ignoramus is too "easy".

Regards,

Scott

The latest Survey USA 50-state POTUS job approval ratings I could find are dated November 2006 (exactly one year after the poll that opened this thread) and only two states, Idaho and Utah, give him 50% or better job approval. Even Wyoming gave him only 49%. And that was back in November. I suspect his numbers are even lower now.

Here's the link.

Jeb Bush speaks Spanish. George W. Bush's Spanish is even worse than his English. Some of his funniest lines are in messed up Spanish.

And, by the way, he refers to it as Mexican, not Spanish:

"Neither in French, nor in English, nor in Mexican."—George W. Bush, declining to answer reporters' questions at the Summit of the Americas, Quebec City, Canada, April 21, 2001.
