    Brown shirts?!?

maybe if it was framed like this...

"Today Al Gore made a speech to the Atlanta Lions Club where he called Bush supporters Brown shirts, prayed for a plague to destroy them, said their children should be taken from them, and called for their public executions..."

Nationally Syndicated Political Writer Lynda Ronstadt said that?
    Oh dear me.
    I have the vapors.

Chuck Who? What the heck is a Boston City Councilor? Is that like a County Commisioner?

    Sorry dude.
Your boy Rush watered down the term Nazi and Brownshirt years ago...
hard for me to take that term serious.

Cameron Diaz may be on to something...she misspoke, but parental rights of rapists might need to be addressed in areas where the mother is forced by law to carry every fetus to term regardless.

Hearing the actual tape of the teacher it wasn't as bad as it was portrayed although teachers should leave their opinions at the classroom door. Not trying to shift gears here either, just don't feel like starting a new thread;)

I said I never heard a Republican question Murthas partiotism and I didn't. The Schmuckette I forgot about but she wasn't put out there as a spokesperson either. She wasn't out giving an interview.

What Democrat said Murtha was attacked? Pelosi, Shummer, Rangle, Terry Maculiff, Harry Reid. They weren't talking about a single person either. They referred to Republican attacks.

No Republican called Murtha a traitor as far as I know. The speech implicated he was a coward and she was called on it. Bush has been accused of lying about WMD evidence, accused of having knowledge of the 911 attacks ahead of time and accused of beytraying the country and all by well known Democrats.

Re: The Esteemed Political Think Tank Member Cameron Diaz
From a related 2002 article..."a number of states have failed to address the question, leaving open the possibility of rapists asserting parental rights."
Um...it's common knowledge Bush lied about WMD. I mean, have you seen any?

And yet again you bring no quotes of Dem leaders making these repeated blanket statements. Why? Because they didn't, they addressed comments as they were made.

Maybe you're confusing which party was throwing "traitor" out there...

Durbin? perhaps ringing a bell? Guantanamo comments?
I'd give 50 bucks for an original letter to Pelosi from the GOP on that one 2/5ths of it's signers are probably going to prison!

or maybe you have this Pelosi memory somewhat distorted
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers. (aid and comfort);)
Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals.";)

Ooops my bad...that was Karl Rove, a science teacher from Waycross Ga.

    P.S. check this out

    Here are a few
    http://newsbusters.org/node/2882

And this pretty much sums the whole thing up
    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Com...2_2_05_MR.html

If Bush lied about WMD so did Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy and every other Democrat who spoke about Iraq's WMD's because they had the intellegence from the Clinton and Bush administrations. Kennedy made absolute assertions about Iraq possessing WMD. So I guess Clinton and Bush fooled him?

Trying to say Bush lied because he didn't include sceptical intellegence reports is a joke. The preponderance gave the impression there was still a WMD threat. 15 members of the UN security council thought so too.

    Here are a few what?

That's Fred Barnes boy...newsbusters. (who ya gonna call...NewsBusters!!!!) The article you linked to takes the approach that the media pumped up the story. I see no mention of Democratic leaders making false claims or hate speech.

Wrong, they didn't have access to the same intelligence the WH had.
On at least four earlier occasions, beginning in the spring of 2002, according to the same records and sources, the president was informed during his morning intelligence briefing that U.S. intelligence agencies believed it was unlikely that Saddam was an imminent threat to the United States.
However, in the months leading up to the war, Bush, Cheney, and Cabinet members repeatedly asserted that Saddam was likely to use chemical or biological weapons against the United States or to provide such weapons to Al Qaeda or another terrorist group.

"Howdy There Teddy Kenndoll, glad you could make it to the oval office for our ritual breakfast. I'm getting a briefing from the CIA wanna sit next to me as usual?":eek3:

Kennedy made absolute assertions about Iraq possessing WMD. So I guess Clinton and Bush fooled him?
If you call clinging to disproven data which if I remember correctly ("it never should have been in there" -Tenent) for the purpose of maintaining the Page Ranking momentum required to shift focus from the true threat (Bin Laden) to Iraq...foolin'
    well...April Fools!!!!

Trying to say Bush lied because he didn't include sceptical intellegence reports is a joke.
No the true joke is getting someone to swallow the fishook that something wasn't included...when it was actually added...when the guy in charge of the info has already said and I quote "it never should have been in there".
There's something on your tie! Ha! Made ya look! April Fools!!!!

The preponderance gave the impression there was still a WMD threat. 15 members of the UN security council thought so too.
15 members thought it should be looked into...and they voted on 1441, thinking the wording would require another resolution. They never got a chance because someone realized THE VOTES WEREN'T THERE.
Which led one guy to refer to the Iraq, open arms, pay for itself, no bid cakewalk in 2004 with "I have indicated it was not in conformity with the UN charter from our point of view, from the charter point of view, it was illegal."

Stay tuned for that quote to resurface in a few years.;)

    what the...

Look at the cartoon on the frontpage of Newsynewsbusters.

http://newsbusters.org/ Now...do you expect me to swallow the concept of the US media "starting the civil in Iraq" which really means "inventing" in the up is down world of L Brent Bozell III? (Also known as chicken boy: the man who runs from hard debates)

Didn't read their cartoons, just looking for a quick reference for quotes. I am more interested in house shopping than digging up talk show transcripts at the moment and that site has some good quotes. I think the media goes over the top at times but even if they didn't there are people who would cut and splice to make any reporting fit their agenda anyway.

I hope the people in Iraq will come together and try to create a real country. Maybe what they should do is split the country up 3 ways and create a joint venture to control the oil revenues.
