Jac-Ewww-zzi Anyone?
Guess it's time to trade in my swimming suit for a haz-mat suit.

I'm wondering about the chloride/bromide levels in the tubs they tested... if you don't dis-infect, all you get is "infect"....

I'm still eyeing my Mother-in-law's pool for a possible sea otter habitat. She already has two cats; I'm trying to convince her that sea otters are in fact, cats that love to swim. |

never use a spa at a hotel or the 'Y'. if you smell chlorine, there's not enough in there and the cooties survive. many bacterias and algaes can survive chlorine if they manage to get established from low chlorine levels. they form a protective barrier that chlorine can't penetrate. that's why brushing the pool/spa is recommended after shocking to break thru the barriers.
