Ahhh I see! I asked because location will have a LOT to do with how much you can get. I take it you are not able to go during your scheduled time this year?

Nope, and I need to pay the taxes and i want new lights for the tank. I actually have a double condo unit. So I can rent each side or the full set but I don't know how to. I already banked a free week and I'm gonna be lucky to get to my cottage this year. That's why I was hoping someone had experience in this sort of thing that could steer me in the right direction. This condo rates pretty high and due to the location and the time 1st week in June if I remember right I was hoping not to have a problem renting it. Do you have any experience with this??

Nope, but my best friends family has a time share in TX. I will try and ask him if he has any input for you. I was curious as to where it was, and I thought if people had more info as to location you might get more responses from people that know. (I was trying to start more conversation by asking.) I guess that didn't work out so well.... Sorry

Just got into a one bedroom in Vegas while I was down there. I will be making some calls next week, so if I find anything out, I will let you know.
Have you tried just posting it up near your house or anything like that? From my understanding, you can rent it to anyone, but you have to make the resevations for them. I may be wrong, but I think that is how it works.

Check with a travel agent. I would think they would be willing to work something out if you have a good location and time.

If it is owned by RCI, I believe that you can also contact them and they will help you out for nothing. Why pay a travel agent!!!!

If it isn't owned by RCI, I think you can pay a membership fee and bank your weeks with them. You can also contact the timeshare condo administrative office where you own (I'm sure they send you their name and address when they charge the yearly maintenance fee). They sometimes can help arrange a rental or trade.
