Never heard of GIMP. I think I'll stick with Fireworks though.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It doesn't pretend to be Photoshop (even though it does much of the same stuff) and it's free! It's really for people like me with time on their hands because it's as friendly as a hungry great white!

I've used it since PS2 - damn, I really am old!
Ease of use par excellence... and power to spare. Unfortunately, mine is on the other computer. Sooooo I'm stuck with the "Skoda".Marc

GIMP is pretty dang cool for a free product.
I used it a bunch with my freebsd box.
