Free FAX software wanted...
that would be GNU or Freeware; not the Bit Torrent variety. Arhum!
![]() I've scoured my usual sources but I'm having some difficulty locating a decent piece of FAX software. The one in Windaz doesn't work for the purpose and the free one that came with the modem is <shudders> "free". Ideally, I'd prefer one with client/server facilities so I can submit faxes from either computer on my network and not have to trudge upstairs in the middle of my coffee! ![]() Actually, even a commerial offering would be OK, but I'd prefer to get to try it first and I like GNU software because it's often less problematical.

Hurumph. [An impression of someone Ninong might know!]
![]() No kazza, no Morpheus, no shareAza, no Warez, no Imesh, no bearShare, no eMule, no eDonkey and no eArmadillo either... and you should all be ashamed for suggesting such a thing. Humph. ![]() No really, guys. Just something that works better than that detritus that they ship with cheap modems. ![]()

I made up the eArmadillo one, but you probably got that Mike.
You'll find most (if not all) of the dozens of different variants listed here mate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peer-to-peer For legitimate file sharing, I still prefer Limewire, but even that's got so thick with viruses and the like it's difficult to tell the clownfish from the reef. ![]()
