My fish accept me for who I am!

I have noticed that my fish are more comfortabel about my nudity than most people are. In fact they prefer to eat that way in my presence, they usually hide until the food comes out if I have clothes on. It's hard to make people understand why I am stripping when they want to see my fish eat.

This reminds me of a real study that showed that ostridges become more aroused in the presence of humans than they do under the same conditions when humans are not around. No one knows why this happens, but the study is valid (i.e. not a joke) and was done by ostridge farmers.

So hey, if people can make ostriges horny, I don't see why a naked person couldn't make some fish hungry.

Professional help may be in order, or at least having a moderator move such a wacked thread to an appropriate discussion group where the author stands a better chance of running into a phsyciatrist and not just us hobbyists who now have an embedded mental image that I could have happily done without during my lifetime.

I had deleted some offensive remarks from above posts.
Please, lets stay civil and do not post any remarks that may be construed as a personal attack, regardless if you think that original message is weird, or whatever.

Strewth! What's the big deal? It's John's home and John's fish - it's not like he's doing something illegal!

This is a community and people should feel able to say what they want (within the realms and rules of the forum) without running into abuse. Hell, if anyone here's wierd, it's me!

I don't see what the big deal is either. He probably walks around his house naked as a lot of people do and the fish are just used to seeing him that way and are more comfortable. Just like my fish don't like it when I wear a hat and get near the tank. As soon as I take the hat off they are ok and swim to the front of the tank.

Rumor has it from a good source that a psychiatrist regularly haunts this forum.... and he didn't see any indication of illness in the post. Twisted sense of humor mixed with a plausible observation, maybe - illness, no.

Nekkie fish feeding? Hmmm...

You know... that might be a strong selling point in getting yet another tank in the house for my bedroom. I could explain to hubby that it has been reported that some fish show a marked preference in being fed by aquarists au natural.
