Anyone else like South Park?

So, my mom never used to let me watch this show. And so I just assumed it was evil and I never watched it. Then recently I saw an episode with a friend and I swear I laughed harder than I'd laughed in so long. Now I'm totally in love with it. And I don't even know what exactly is so funny about it. I just can't stop laughing when I watch it. And sometimes I even feel kinda guilty because I really shouldn't be laughing at some of the really really tasteless jokes. But I don't know why I just can't help it! It must be the bad animation or the voices or something!

It comes on really late here. I saw the one with Carmen and the trapper keeper. It was soooo funny. But I wonder if older people even get that... the obsession with trapper keepers.

Then then one where Carman hits his head and thinks he's a vietmanese prostitute came on. Omg, I could not stop laughing. And I was really trying not to... because you know, that's just really wrong. lol

Yes, it's Cartman, or so I've heard. I wouldn't actually watch such a left-wing program myself but others have told me it's Cartman.

Is it really so left-wing? I pretty much find it offensive and tasteless on all levels and from all sides. lol

Dude... I'm so not in-tune with what's liberal and what's conservative. I didn't know Comedy Central was liberal. I know the 700 club has a conservative slant... other than that, I don't know. I don't have caple or anything. I only get about 3-5 channels.

Have you ever heard of Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert? They're not exactly right-wingers.

Well... 5-7 if you count the two spanish stations. I do know some Spanish, but apparently not enough to know why a 300+lb man would be in an inflatable pool full of jello with two skanty claid blond women.

Omg, I just saw the one with the Civil War "reenactment" last night. I laughed so hard I cried. I was nearly hysterical laughing when Cartman gave his "not this year!" speech. And then at the end with the "don't touch me" to Clinton. Omg, I'm sooo watching that one again...

It's funny how my husband still feels very uncomfortable with the show. I was like "I don't understand... I know it makes you laugh. You obviously think it's really funny. What's the problem?" And he said "That is the problem... I'm disturbed by the fact that it makes me laugh. I think it's degrading my moral character or something..." LOL

"Dear guys.

Words cannot express how much I hate you guys. As we fight our way northward into the great unknown, only that one thing remains certain: that I hate you guys with every tired muscle in my Confederate body. We have taken Topeka, and now I must lolly the men over to Missouri. Because I will not stop until we have won it all, and you guys are my slaves. Because, I hate you guys. I hate you guys so very very much.

Yours,
General Cartman Lee "

Top 3 episode of all time IMO.

Oh my god... that was my second favorite part!! I loved the little bubble in the corner with the antique-style picture of Cartman. I want that as my avatar! LOL
