Poor babies! They're so upset following the midterm elections that they don't know what to do with themselves. After all, you can't party all the time. You have to set aside quality time to advance the ideals of the glorious Republican Party.
![]() Photo of the national president of the College Republicans, Paul Gourley, nibbling on the necktie of his College Republican pal, in a purely heterosexual way of course! (P.S. -- Karl Rove is a former president of the College Republicans!) Looks like the Boston University College Republicans have hit on an excellent idea to call attention to one of the most pressing needs of our times: Looking to draw attention to what they call the "worst form of bigotry confronting America today," Boston University's College Republicans are circulating an application for a "Caucasian Achievement and Recognition Scholarship." The scholarship, which is privately funded by the BUCR without the support of the university, is meant to raise awareness, group members say. BUCR members argue that racial preferences are a form of "bigotry." The group has a similar view on affirmative action. The application for the $250 scholarship, due Nov. 30, requires applicants be full-time BU undergraduate students and one-fourth Caucasian and maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA. Applicants must submit two essays, one describing the applicant's ancestry and one describing " what it means to you to be a Caucasian-American today." P.S. -- What can I say? I think the best part is the amount of the scholarship. Who's going to take the time to write two essays in hopes of being considered for a $250 scholarship! ![]() This really isn't a new idea by the YR's at BUCR. Young Republican Jason Mattera started a "whites only scholarship" two years ago at Roger Williams University. You might remember Jason from his appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews in August 2005: Chris: Would you like to serve in this war? Jason: I'm fighting the battle for ideas... P.P.S. -- Maybe all those idealistic YR's should stick with " Catch an Illegal Immigrant Day" and "Fun with Guns Day," where students were to shoot cardboard cutouts of prominent Democrats. Don't hold your breath waiting for them to sponsor a "Let's All Enlist in the Marine Corps Day."

A few more photos of YR President & Campus Crusade for Christ activist...
Paul Gourley
One of the biased liberal blogs claims that the chalice is filled with beer but I say it's probably wine and these good Caucasian Christian YR's are actually taking Holy Communion. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I see wine in the glasses on the table and I'm sure the bread is somewhere. It's obvious that this was a sacramental occasion.
