Except that if you happen to be Lee LaHaye or John Schlafly, you may have to be all that you can be in the closet. Why do so many of the right-wing crackpots have gay children? Maybe it's just that they're more newsworthy for having to put up with such pendejos as parents?

I wonder if the religious wing-nuts will come out with a new game in honor of Pastor Tim, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals? What would that call it? "Brotherly Love." "Tweaking for Jesus." "Just Do It!" "I Know What You Did Last Night and If You Give Me $1000, I Won't Tell Your Wife."

It could be an old-fashioned board game like Monopoly. And the cards that you have to pick could include such fun topics as "Collect $1000 from Pastor Ted and don't tell anybody" or "Tell Pastor Ted's wife" or "Tell a Denver TV station."

Other possible options: "Spend the night at Mark Foley's D.C. condo," "Rendezvous with Larry Craig at Union Station," "Hit the slots with Uncle Bill Bennett," "Beat the crap out of your little dog for Daddy Dobson," "Take a midnight tour of the White House with your choice of hosts: Karl Rove, Ken Mehlman, Scott McClellan or Jeff Gannon."

Even scarier options: "Have tea with Auntie Katherine Harris," "A fun trip to the zoo with Auntie Jean Schmidt," "Go hunting with Uncle Dick," "Get drunk with Uncle Bob Ney," "Go golfing with Uncle Ralphie and his non-Christian friend, Jack something-or-other," "Collect $2.4 million in bribes and a yacht named Bouy Toy," "Bedtime story telling by Auntie Lynne or Uncle Scooter."

Instead of going directly to jail, they would have to spend ten minutes in the cage with the horny bear.
