I guess that means they'll end up in the Sugar Bowl, right? Unless you think they'll pass Michigan in the BCS standings?

Everybody down here is ordering their tickets for the Rose Bowl but if the Gators get to play Ohio State, then LSU may end up in the Sugar Bowl.

Michigan Vs OSU II!

I could not ask for a better BCS game! If the BCS jumps UM again, it will just prove itself to be a SHAM! I am all for a 4 team bracket, eliminate the controversy:

1 vs 4
2 vs 3

Winner Vs Winner = REAL NATIONAL CHAMPION!

Agreed, but our one loss was to OSU, by 3 in Columbus.... We put more points on OSU then all their other home oppponents COMBINED! I think Florida is benefiting from late season memories, it has been what 3 weeks now since UM played? I see you have moved up to #2 in the AP and USA today polls....

ARGH! Can we please have a PLAYOFF???

If so, then LSU will probably play Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.

P.S. -- The Coaches Poll is out. Check out the jump Florida made on Michigan. It doesn't look too good for Michigan at this point.

Lloyd Carr is already blaming Urban Meyer for making inappropriate statements about Michigan in an attempt to sneak into the championship game.

"I think it's going to be a great controversy, I don't care who gets selected," Carr said, "because I just think that based on some of the comments the Florida coach has made in the last two weeks - campaigning strenuously for a berth in the championship game - and making some statements about Michigan that I think were inappropriate."

I don't know for sure who goes to the Sugar Bowl, I'm just reporting that the New Orleans sports writers are predicting that it will be LSU vs. Notre Dame. Yesterday they were all booking flights to Southern California and now it looks like they get to drive to the game. The hotels in New Orleans will absolutely hate this development! They would prefer that both teams come from out of state. Far out of state!

The L.A. Times is reporting that the final BCS standings will show Florida in second place.

So where does Michigan go now? The Rose?

The official national title game announcement — along with the matchups for the other four BCS bowls — will come at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

Wisconsin got hosed by the fact that both OSU and UM are going to BCS bowl games. No conference is allowed to have more than two teams in BCS games. So Wisconsin isn't eligible for a BCS berth.

At least Tressel showed major class, and abstained from the vote. Vandy played both UM and Florida, their coach said UM is better....

UM blasted opponents, Florida squeeked by in several games... 17-16 to who the GAMECOCKS? Get real!

Sorry Schrocat... I wish you the best, and may you get your doors blown off, so that UM finishes #2 where they should be right now....

P.S. To deny the Gamecocks current coach as a "factor" in that game...might be an underestimate in the matchup. (Just an observation)

I really wish UF would beat OSU so we can say we're the only team that beat the national champs, but it ain't gonna happen. Florida would have been better off if they didn't get in the game and ended the season #2.
