The HD broadcast is back on again but it has a lot of interference on the game signal, not the commercials!

I'm going to watch it on the HD channel because it's HD and 16:9. If it goes out again, I'll just switch back to their regular broadcast.

P.S. -- Oops! I spoke too soon. Even the commercials are breaking up.

No signal problems here, no HD either.

What a strange game. Looks like all the players must have went to McDonalds before the game for some snacks....can anyone say TURNOVERS? Ok, bad joke, but still way too many miscues in that first half.

Arrow Hmmm...

Is it Griese time yet? Probably not but Grossman is choking. After that last interception, I think you can stick a fork in him. He's done! He'll just get more and more desperate now!

You can't really blame everything on Grossman, they run this type of offense all year and most of the time they won. But, like you pointed out, when pressure came about they rarely had another option to go to.., and that kills quarterbacks. My whole family was cheering for the Colts and Peyton this year and I'm glad it's over now...
The pregame show was awful but halftime was even worse. I'd go as far as to say it was lame.

You're right, of course. He's a good kid and a very good quarterback. It's just that he's still young and has a proven tendency to be erratic.

I was concerned in the beginning of the game that Hester's run back TD would be enough to tip the scales in Chicago's favor but it turned out that the first quarter was a comedy of errors on both sides. Then things settled down somewhat and Peyton Manning's years of experience proved to be the deciding factor.

I'm not sure I would call it a boring Superbowl so much as a frustrating Superbowl. It was exciting, especially in the first quarter, but for all the wrong reasons.

I agree with you one hundred percent, in fact I thought the game itself was not boring at all as superbowl game go. I found everything else that went on( the halftime and pregame routines) quite boring and commercials lacking.
Since all were cheering for the same team the atmosphere in my condo was pretty boring, too...

Getting back to Grossman, I think he will be very good quarterback in the future. His rookie "tunel vision" could possibly be corrected if he gets exellent coach and offense coordinator that will utilize his strength and not expect him to win the games ( which they done at times during season and all those games was won with Gressman playing brilliant). He is still better than Peyton's younger brother, I don't think anyone can correct his "tunnel vision".

Anyways, hooray for Colts!

I know three guys who will disagree with you on that point and they all have the same last name. Their first names are Archie, Cooper and Peyton!

Leave Eli alone. He will come around soon enough. Cooper and Peyton have always said that their little brother is the best athlete in the family.

The game itself was not boring. It was CBS coverage, the announcers, cameramen, and etc. did a terrible job.
the Commercials were the pits

Talking Case of mistaken identity in Naptown!

Warriors receive rousing welcome in Indy:

Golden State's players and staff got a rousing welcome on their way to the Fieldhouse for Monday's game with the Pacers, thanks to a case of mistaken identity, according to the INDIANAPOLIS STAR.

Both team buses received police escorts because of all the traffic gathered Downtown for the Colts parade. That led some fans to believe the buses were full of Colts, and they cheered wildly. "It was hilarious," one member of the traveling party said.

The second bus, which left the Warriors' hotel a half-hour after the first, was involved in a minor fender-bending accident. That prompted coach Don Nelson to crack a joke about Stephen Jackson's legal issues as police officers boarded the bus.

"I told Jackson to get down and keep quiet," Nelson said.
