Oklahoma's Recent BCS Championship Bowl Record

2003: LSU beats Okies, 21-14

2004: USC beats Okies, 55-19

2008: Florida beats Okies, 24-14

LSU and Florida have now won four of the last six BCS Championship Bowl Games.

LSU has defeated Oklahoma and Ohio State and Florida has beaten Oklahoma and Ohio State. The SEC dominates the Little 10 and the Little 12.

Besides losing BCS Championship Games to LSU and Florida, Oklahoma lost the 2004 Championship to USC.

In the 11 years that BCS Championship Bowl Games have been played, SEC teams have appeared five times and won all five times. LSU and Florida own four of those championships and Tennessee has the other one.

The only reason there have been only five SEC teams in the 11 BCS Championship Games is because they have to play each other before getting there. The SEC is 5-0 in BCS Championship Games.

The only time Ohio State or Oklahoma ever won one of those games is when they weren't facing the SEC. Ohio State is a woeful 0-9 in bowl games against SEC teams.

Of course I'm pulling for Giants, and so far Eli didn;t impress me much in the first half. He seems to be off his usual composed self today.

PS. He seems to be warming up though on this drive... He should be even better in second half, I think. If defense continues to play well Giants should be able to compete today.
