Arrrgh!
I hate people, i work at petsmart (dont flame me, you dont know me) and today we experienced an ammonia spike. No normal ammonia spike but one that went from 0 ppm to in excess of 20 ppm in about 15 minutes. We think someone dumped drain cleaner or some other chemical into the system and caused the death of over 150 fish. This really pisses me off, people are so sick, who gets their jollies off killing fish?
gurrrrrr. Ira

That bites BTL!
I know how it feels. I went to our LFS store one time not too long ago. The owner was furiously doing water changes and running a diatom filter in his reef system. Someone had dumped an ice cream snadwich into the tank(s). Before he realized it, the entire system was "polluted". He lost several corals and fish before he got the system back to normal. Some people are simply malicious.

I can't believe someone would do that. Well, actualy I can believe it. Sometimes I think if I was God, I would wipe the people on this earth out! Good thing I am not. It would be hard to be so merciful. I feel sorry that you had to see all those poor animals die and there really wasn't anything you could do. It would be nice to Jacki Chan those people that do things like that!
