the little ones are dangerous? How so? Maybe you should expand on this statement?

Yes, stupid children need extra supervision. From the footage on the news, it created quite a blaze.

As a vendor of Fireworks I feel the need to share my knowledge on this matter.....Yes they are VERY dangerous...You never know when you can get fireworks that can backfire and/or blowup (unintentionally) Here is some of the best advice that I can give to the parents supervising their kids w/fireworks.

SPARKLERS First off try and buy the ones with wooden handles! they are much safer! Regardless to popular belief sparklers IME are one of the most dangerous fireworks around.... I mean think about it something that gets 2800 farenheit and kids hold in their hand. NEVER light them side by side right next to each other....they can very easily bond together and become combustible!

Anything that shoots upward For health's sake use a Punk or stick of incense to light the fuses, thus keeping your head out of the firing zone

WATER I like to shoot off my stuff on the beach (if legal) or near a lake....but If thats not feasable then I drag the hose close by and ready to turn on or even have a valve at the end of the hose to turn on. With the drought on hand in some areas it can be worse than others so try to follow sight of everything that Flys away in case of a fire!

People who like to shoot of their GUNS consider getting some blanks! Falling bullets can be just as dangerous!

Im a little pyromaniac myself and love the reason for the season of 4th. of July. So its important to have as much fun as possible....Just be safe

This year in NEW YORK, even sparklers are illegal!! Doesnt mean I dont have them It was near impossible to get 100 sparklers, 144 bottle rockets, 80 packs of 'crackers', and chinese fountains. I cant wait to hear this years news report... "30 year old man has head blown off by illegal fireworks, more at 11:00" And the cops are out looking this year, dont worry though, Im gonna wear my running shoes!

Don't you worry about me...

On the 4th, I will be in my back yard pretending to BBQ on my pretend grill while holding a couple of twigs, pretending that they are sparklers. I am fairly confidant that I will not catch anything on fire.

I know. Please don't turn me in.

Anyway, I am a Texan by birth, NOT by choice! Texas is the land that God forgot about.

We'll be driving the OHV trail to the top of Angora Ridge(8000ft) and looking down into the Tahoe Basin watching the firework displays illuminate Lake Tahoe...a spectacular sight to behold.

Mini 14 is one heck of a fun rifle. I got a stainless ranch model (scope mounts) among my arsenal. That is in my top 5. Others being Tec DC 9, H&K USP .45 tactical, my handy .308 winchester with 9x-16x wide field, and well...I don't know if I'd pick the AK, or the Win. 12G for my fifth....all are fun to take to the grandparents house ouside of Minden and go crazy with in the old quarrys.

Im just a little guy....I dont have a bunch of locations...just one tent on the side of the road that I have been doing the past 3 yrs. besides there are way too many legal & political aspects to it that I would not be willing to get involved into cross country sales. So Im gonna have to say NO. sorry!

Here is a link to a local story involving fireworks:

http://www.msnbc.com/local/wvtm/nbcpvr2ipoc.asp

Makes me VERY Angry, Really want to apply the Golden Rule Here.
