Another brilliant proposal by a Mississippi Republican state legislator:
House Bill No. 282, would make it illegal for any establishment serving food to serve anyone who is obese. According to recent federal health data, two-thirds of Mississippians are considered overweight or obese. Here. So how would they enforce this law? Would all prospective customers have to step on a scale to be weighed before being seated? What about drive-through windows at fast-food joints? Would everyone have to get out of the car to be weighed before placing the order? Who put this idiot in public office? This is about as stupid as Mike Huckabee's campaign promise that he would force all 12 million or more illegal immigrants now living in the United States to leave within 90 days.

Re: Are you too fat to be served at a restaurant in Mississippi?
Just out of curiosity, I decided to look up the jackass who wrote that stupid bill. Turns out he had two co-sponsors and one of them is a Democrat!
Here's the idiot who wrote the bill: W. T. Mayhall, Jr. Here's the other Republican co-sponsor: John Read And here's the idiot Democrat from the Zell Miller wing of the party: Bobby Shows All three profiles include email links so that we can tell them what morons they really are. Have at it! ![]() P.S. -- Read and Shows are both Southern Baptists, Mayhall is a Methodist. Mike Huckabee is a Southern Baptist. He's famous for losing a lot of weight. And for thinking God wants him to be Pastor-in-Chief of the United States of America so that he can "take the country back for Jesus Christ" and expell all the illegal immigrants. They would have 90 days to get the hell back to whereever it was they came from no matter how long they've been here. That's what Rev. Huckabee would do because he's America's best Christian. WWJD?
