North Carolina gun owners get no respect:

Pasquotank County officials have decided to change this sign in the Public Safety Building, shown here June 27, 2007, following complaints from gun-permit seekers who said it made them feel embarrassed to stand in the same line as sex offenders.

Yeah, that's why it's so hilarious. I think somebody with a wicked sense of humor did that on purpose.

Can't you see yourself standing in line for a gun permit and one of your neighbors or someone from your church is in another line and they see you and they see "sex offender registration" on the sign.
