Major line of storms headed my way

There is a line of storms running through Ar. There have already been confirmed tornados in the state and 3 deaths. A county just west of me is under a tornado watch right now and the storm is rapidly moving towards me. I just cleaned the storm cellar out this afternoon and stocked it with candles and some food just because it's nice to be prepared but I hope I don't have to use it. We hit a record high temperature today and this isn't good. I have 30 gallons of ASW mixed up and a battery powered air pump...that's about all. Wish me luck.

Quite a few tornados touched down in the state but we're ok. We did go to the basement twice though.

Glad you made it thru okay Chuck, those storms are something else.... We are getting SNOW, more then an inch an hour at this point....

Thanks Mike. My family had some friends whose house got messed up really bad in Clinton but other than that everyone we know is ok. I've seen some snow this year but it was gone about as soon as it started. It might be nice to get some accumulation for a few days. I hope it slacks up for ya.

Lol, I played the Call of Duty 4 through the whole thing. It got pretty bad up this way but didn't pay much attention to it!

No school for the kid yesterday, no school tomorrow either!

We got just about 14" of snow, and that is a LOT for one evening, the roads are still crappy. Charlie is probably used to that in MT though!

The north suburbs of Chicago got 10 to 14 inches of snow yesterday. Schools closed yesterday and today.

The fun part is all the towns have run out of salt, it is like driving on an ice rink. The Illinois River has ice dams and they can not get the barges of salt through.

Glad to hear you two made it out of all those storms okay though! That's a very good thing.

Amazing how Mother Nature can do her thing one day and the next is completely nice out. Man she can have a temper.
