WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE...........

Don't look now but gold hit $967.70/oz earlier this morning, crude oil topped $102.00/bbl and the euro topped $1.50 for the first time ever. And the rate of inflation over the past 12 months, at 7.4%, was the highest in 26 years. We've only just begun.
Over the past 12 months, wholesale prices rose by 7.4 percent, the largest yearly gain since late 1981. Analysts warned consumers to brace for more bad inflation news with crude oil prices rising to records above $100 per barrel and with more evidence that the prolonged jump in energy prices is starting to break out into more widespread price problems.
Meanwhile, the New York-based Conference Board reported that its confidence index fell to 75.0 in February, down from a revised January reading of 87.3. The drop was far below what analysts had forecast and put the index at its lowest level since February 2003, a period that reflected anxiety in the leadup to the Iraq war.
A third report showed that home prices, measured by the S&P/Case-Shiller Index, dropped by 8.9 percent in the fourth quarter of last year, compared with the same period in 2006, the steepest decline in the 20-year history of the index.
All brought to you courtesy of a compassionate conservative Republican administration.

Empire strikes back.., again!
Oil barons knew who they needed in the Oval Office and who they needed to be as an enforcer...(Darth Chaney). NeedI say more?

Why is it that american people keep electing the same useless family members as a president?

Just think, the euro was actually only $0.83 at one point during the administration of that skirt-chasing, budget-balancing, surplus-generating Democrat. Thank goodness George W. Bush restored "honor and dignity" to the White House, as well as put an end to our eight-year national nightmare of peace and prosperity, especially those last three years with those obscene budget surpluses.

Oh yeah, the order has been restored... The easiest way to control populace is to make them extremely poor. Camelot may be dead but it also may be restored if we vote smart and put aside things that differentiate us, and make those that pray on our ignorance stronger.

Off we go into the wild blue yonder, flying high into the sky...

Gold = $992.00/oz

Oil = $103.95/bbl

P.S. -- The Swiss franc, probably the world's most stable currency, is now US$0.97. It was only US$0.40 when I visited Switzerland in 1977. I would hate to think how much a cup of coffee cost there now in American dollars.
