I'm sure you would LOVE going to an NHRA National. They usually have one in the Spring and one in the Fall here for the season. First one is coming up in April and then the last one is this October...I think like the 30th through Nov 1st or something like that. I'll have to look it up.

If you ever plan on coming down for it, let me know. I'll definitely be there and see if I can work my contacts to get two media passes instead of one. It's simply amazing to be near these things. However, I'll be honest...it's a biotch to try and keep the lens/body from shaking while takin' photos! You really have to keep the shutter speed up or your photos will definitely be blurry. LOL

I would just like to get next to somebody that knows what the heck they are doing with a camera. I would give up my sailfin tang, for lack of a better offer, to sit next to Gene or Mike or you when you guys take pictures. It is hard for me to learn by word of mouth, I like to see what is going on and hear the explanation, I learn better that way.

Well, next time you come down, we'll have to get together and do a mini shoot of sorts. I'm definitely not saying I can compare to Gene or Mike in shooting, but I do my best to try and be as good as them. They are definitely the upper echelon of shooting!

If I would have had the camera there, I would have dropped that too. Plus the fact is that people look at you really wierd when you walk into a porta potty with a camera.
