![]() Louise, the persian's color is actually shaded silver, yes. I got two of these for free from a friend who was a breeder but was getting out of the business. This particular bloodline came all the way from Russia and if I remember correctly they called this color chinchilla.

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
Funny I just posted a new thread in the reef forum 'New species of catfish' as I came across some fun pics of my old cat, good for a giggle then I found this thread.

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
OK -- Here goes. I am not a killer photographer like Gene, Mike and LOTS of other folks here, so apologies for the poor composition in some of these (do you all really need to see the Turbo Tax software package????)
Anyway, here is the little hairball in all his fuzzy glory. He only looks grumpy -- he's really very sweet and mellow. PS -- I resized the images after i took them to 640X640 and qaulity medium. Is that right? PPS tried to upload them to here from my laptop. Upload failed. What did I do wrong. The file is 40 Kb I think , and the guidlines say a JPG can be 1000 KB. Do I need to delete from my gallery?? How do I do tha??? |

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
Can you upload them from your gallery?
Just copy the first link and paste it in your post. |

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
I cant copy them to the gallery in the first place. I try uploading from my laptop (they are in my my pictures file) and I always get "upload failed" even when I do it 1 at a time. What am I doing wrong? Are they too big? Do I not have enough space left in my personal alottment (I don't know how else to descrbe it) of attachments?

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
First Picture is Wolfgang my Silver tipped Persian, the second is Bailey "Killer" the lab dog, then the last is Michael one of the last legal imported Bolivian blue front parrots. I actually need to have paperwork stating it's legal for me to have ownership of him.

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
Awww! they're all so cute, even your grumpy looking kitty!
![]() I bred Shaded Silvers about 15 yrs ago, only 2 litters but they were ALL so cute! What kind of dog is that? He looks like a shaved Yorkie speaking of which, I'm gonna have to pull out the clipper soon, mine are starting to look like a couple of dust mops!![]() 2 years ago just before getting my tank it was a toss up between an African gray parrot or a tank and I figured with my 2 completely spoiled and misbehaved dogs, the poor bird would be constantly stressed out so I went with the tank! Yours is gorgeous by the way!

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
Thanks, the grumpy look is normal for him. The dog is a yorkie, he gets shaved a lot otherwise he gets wax stuck in his coat just from running around.

Re: Everyone's Non Fishy Pets
lol, They actually can do braces on a pet. It;s usually a nasty mess with the drooling, but it is done on occasion.
As for Woofie, Naaaa That's would be like cutting off Alfalfa's "personality" hair tuft. lol |
