Yes, you are...

Until you reach 250 posts, try writing your post more humbly. Say:

Dear kind Sirs and Ladies of Reefland,
With all respect I humbly ask for your help with this problem....
...Your question here...
...Thank you for your time and I hope I have not offended anyone with this post. If I have, I beg your forgiveness.
Sincerely,
Your name or user name here...

Also, NEVER answer anyone elses questions... Questions only!

Just kidding. The number of replies you get are due to the day, time of day and whether or not anyone knows the answer in the first place. I have the same problem and I have been here more than a year. Quite offen the person that knows the answer to your question may not log on for hours or days after you post it. One thing these boards will teach you is patience.

Also, Sundays are slow as are all holidays. This being the July 4th, expect most people to be BBQing, watching fireworks or drunk. Also, after around 8:00PM, the number of members online drops and so do the number of posts.

Oh I forgot...
If a thread gets too far down the list, just bump it up... Simply reply to it with nothing in the subject but "^^^^^". This shows people that you are still need answers. Quite offen people forget to say thanks and such when their question has been answered. It is assumed that if you do not reply, then your question probably was answered to your satisfaction. If not, feel free to let people know, but nicely. You can and should do this to other member's threads if you are interested in the answer and no one has posted it yet.

HTH,
Mark

Do your friends find you boring and uninteresting?

Posts should be intelligent, stimulating, charming, witty and intensley captivating, like this one. Only then will the tattoed engineers and Democrats who inhabit this BB answer you.
