i like 'em.....i like the new cd but i got a feeling im going to get sick of it pretty quick i was a big fan of their older albums the new one is good though i like weezer.....i'm more of a alternative/rap music kinda guy myself so that could be another reason why the weezer cd may not make it a long time in my 10disk changer in my car. good album though.

I almost puke every time I see that video. Those sumos in those tiny thong things makes me sick

I used to only listen to rap(exclusively west coast) but now I like some alternative. How come they can talk about drugs and eminem and dre cant?

I still dont see why MTV will play a song called "hash pipe" and then turn around and not play a song called "purple pills" because of the "drug references".

if you like ska, check out the bands Slightly Stoopid (download from napster, gnutella, whatever) and the bands at www.rudeboy.net. Slightly Stoopid is killing it at the Warped tour. Expendables are a good local band signed to my friends record label (rudeboy). My band is working on a album with Rudeboy, and we are a ska/reggae/punk/surf band.

Slightly stoopid is signed on skunk.com (Skunk records, founded by Sublimes late Brad Nowell). Miles and Kyle are both cool guys and deserve a come-up. They've worked their butts off, and are now talking with some BIG labels. They'll be touring with Buju Banton (reggae) nationwide once the warped tour is over.

As for the MTV thing. MTV just sucks. Its the worst thing to ever happen to music. They virtually dictate what children listen to. I won't allow MTV on at my house if I am home. Between them and the big labels which "make" bands for themselves, real musicians have a 1 in a million chance at succeding.

Over here on national radio (BBC radio 1) the DJ's play the track "Hash Pipe" but they arent allowed to say the "hash" word themselves

Unreal eh..........not like u just heard it 20 times in the song already
