Hey, I sorta remember that dude. Last time I saw him he was down at the public library doing a search on "political asylum" and "extradition treaties."

What he should really be worried about is how many countries have already signed and ratified the ICC treaty. The U.S. signed it on Dec. 31, 2000 but the Goppy preznit who took office in 2001 sent a letter to the court informing them that we will no longer recognize them. That new fella in the While House has every intention of retracting that stupid letter in the very near future. How can we not be a member of the court that we pushed the hardest to set up?

He's a "motivational" speaker. On January 23, 2010, he appeared alongside Liz Cheney and a band called Papa Doo Run Run before the Safari Club International convention in Reno, Nevada.

Check out Safari Club International. They sponsor a lot of captive hunts and their members openly display trophies of endangered species. They keep score. The member with the most kills and the kills of the rarest animals has the highest ranking. Just check out the video clip in that Humane Society of the U.S. link. They love to kill. They kill rare animals for sport. That's why George W. Bush is their choice for a "motivational" speaker.

I wonder how much Safari Club International paid George W. Bush for his "motivational" speech? Sarah Palin is being paid $100,000 to give a little pep talk to the Tea Party partiers. I wonder if she will ban the press from covering the event?

The Tea Party teabaggers will have to cough up $549.00 plus a $9.95 fee plus hotel and airfare for the pleasure of being motivated by the former half-term governor of Alaska. Other speakers have been invited to address the convention, or party, or whatever it's called, but they have to pay a fee for the privilege of speaking before such a select group of paranoid crazies.

P.S. -- According to this report, Sarah Palin is being paid $115,000 to speak at the Tea Party National Convention. There's just one little bitty problem: she may be speaking in front of a half-empty room. Tickets are not selling and many people who already paid are now demanding refunds.

Ninong, regarding the Tea Party convention. I think it ended up selling pretty well. It's amazing that people who complain about paying too much in taxes will spend over 550 to watch a speech from someone who can't govern the easiest state to govern in the US. Since frugality is obviously not a priority, it makes you wonder what the real issue the Tea Party has with the current president. (For the record I voted for McCain, I didn't think Obama had enough experience.)
