I have not yet started a thread here, many heavy political topics seem to be pervasive. In a totally different vein, I heard something today that, simply put, is just beautiful. Please watch the entire YouTube video; this woman's sing is simply perfect, the reactions from everybody else are amazing. Her voice is trul amazing!

Susan Boyle Freaks Out

Both Susan Boyle and Shaheen Jafargholi will be in Saturday night's finals. Susan sang Monday night in the semis and Shaheen sang Tuesday night. To tell you the truth, I didn't think either one of them was as good this week as they were previously. Susan's first few bars were terribly off-key but she recovered and did an admirable job after that. Shaheen did okay, I guess, but I just didn't like the song he chose -- something from Dream Girls.

However, that's not the real news. Click on the link above for the real news. Apparently Susan was watching Shaheen's performance Tuesday night in a hotel bar with members of her family and a huge crowd of hotel guests. When judge Piers Morgan praised Shaheen's performance as the best so far in that round, Susan went berserk and screamed an F-bomb at the TV screen. Then she started screaming F-bombs at the hotel guests.

The police had to be called to try to calm her down. They escorted her outside to the parking lot where she screamed F-bombs at the police.

I don't think that's going to help her chances of winning. Right now she's still the odds-on favorite to win but Shaheen is closing in on her in the betting. They will both sing Saturday night in the finals, along with others, but it will probably be either Susan or Shaheen and it could come down to which of them does the better job Saturday night. The real unknown is how much Susan's erratic behavior will influence the voting. Apparently she's a loose cannon in public.

In two separate incidents, The Sun recorded her alleged conversation outside a hotel and her prior behavior inside a hotel bar where the matron went off in a tizzy when BGT judge Piers Morgan heaped enormous praise on her competition, a 12 year-old kid named Shaheen Jafargholi.

According to the paper's report, police had to intervene yesterday after Susan, 48, "went berserk" in the lobby of the Wembley Plaza in North London after some strangers apparently said something to upset her.

The Sun claims Boyle was overheard saying: "How f**king dare you! You can't f**king talk to me like that."

When the police officer asked Boyle the question, "Is there a problem?" She allegedly retorted, "Of course there's a f**king problem."

The report claims a teary Susan stormed off with show producers in tow trying to ameliorate the whole tense situation.

The paper also claims that Susan "flew into another rage" on Tuesday night after judge Piers Morgan gushed over the performance of Shaheen Jafargholi.

Piers, who kissed Boyle, said of Shaheen: "I think that, pound for pound, that was the best singing performance we've seen so far."

Judge Simon Cowell added: "You are a real contender in the competition."

The Sun reports that Susan was nursing her drink, watching his performance in the hotel bar with Shaheen's family and fans - and "stood and screamed 'f**k off' before flicking a 'V' at the screen and storming out."

"She got a bit annoyed when a busload of tourists asked for autographs and told them to wait until Shaheen had finished. She was smiling as Shaheen sang but afterwards, when Piers started praising him, Susan went nuts...She got up, did one of those strange wiggling dances that she does, and then stuck two fingers up at the TV. Then she marched off. We didn't see her again...Everyone staying at the hotel gets on really well - it's like one big happy BGT family - so everyone was shocked by her outburst."

The Sun claims Susan is smitten with Piers, and their source claims, "She was clearly upset that her favorite judge had sided with one of her main rivals.

The paper dispatched reporters to Boyle's home turf of Blackburn, West Lothian, and found people to comment on Boyle's temperament.

The Sun "source" in Scotland says, "It's not unusual to see her freak out over the smallest thing...A few of us think it's only a matter of time before she loses it on the show."

P.S. -- This Susan Boyle incident is all over the British press. I read another article that even included photos of a young British cop constable talking to Susan in the parking lot car park, trying to calm her down. He told her that now that she is a public figure, she has to accept that strangers will ask for autographs and even offer gratuitous comments on her chances of winning. Apparently it wasn't so much the autograph seekers who set her off but a combination of things, including Piers Morgan praising Shaheen's performance and a couple in the bar telling her that he was going to win because he was the better singer.

P.P.S. -- The Britain's Got Talent finals will be broadcast live in two separate episodes this Saturday, May 30. There are at least three different dance groups that made it through to the finals. Right now it looks like Susan Boyle is still the odds-on favorite to win but you never can tell how all of this publicity about her erratic behavior will affect the voting public. If she loses votes, will those votes switch to Shaheen or one of the dance groups? For Shaheen to win, he will have to do a lot better than he did this past Tuesday night.

Susan Boyle threatens to quit Britain's Got Talent

SINGING sensation Susan Boyle considered quitting the TV talent show that has brought her worldwide fame because she can't handle the pressure, Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan said overnight.

Morgan said the 48-year-old Scottish spinster, dubbed the "Hairy Angel" in Britain, was struggling to cope with the pressures of fame after she reportedly unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at the hotel where the contestants are staying.

He said Boyle had even packed her bags on Wednesday in preparation to quit ahead of the final of the show on Saturday, before relenting.

Susan Boyle Didn't Win BGT

In a big upset, a 10-member troupe of street dancers called Diversity won the Britain's Got Talent contest. Susan Boyle came in second. The bookmakers had Boyle the odds-on favorite to win. Diversity was sixth in the betting at odds of 20-1.

Diversity, winners of BGT 2009. Eleven-member dance crew, including three sets of brothers, ranging in age from 12 to 25. Their routine was inspired by the movie, Transformers.

Susan Boyle, finished second.

Julian Smith finished third.

Aidan Davis, 12-yr-old, in the semi-finals.

P.S. -- ITV said that out of the nearly four million votes cast Diversity secured 24.9% of the public vote, while Boyle received 20.2% and Smith received 16.4%.
