    which digicam

Looking for a digital camera. Im not looking to spend a small fortune. A few hundred or so if possible. Basically i want to be able to take macro pics and full tank pics. The normal, macro shots are a must. Anyone have any ideas for a decent low budget camera?

    Please define: "decent low budget".

What sort of range are you trying to stay under? $200, $300, $400, $1000.

Well you could have edited your post top make me look dumb for asking I suppose...;)

Anyway, In the under $300 range My father-in-law has been very happy with the Olympus D-360 that has been running around $250 at Costco. Although the zoom is only 3x and 2x digital, the resolution has been very good 1.3gig.

The Fujifilm FinePix 1400 Zoom, also for around $250 has simular features and has been very well received by both users and reviews as an excellent 1.3gig camera. Only bad thing on this camera is the memory is only 4Mb, but that should be fine unless you want to shoot a lot of pictures at the best resolution. Then you will need to upgrade.

Both those would keep you around $300 with tax, batteries and everything.
