    Newbie

I thought would just say Hi. I'm new(very new) to the saltwater world. got a 100 gal tank and going to give it a shot. Going to be a slow process, doing lots of research and reading first. I hope you guys and gals don't mind a newbie with lots of questions. Seems the more I read, the more confused I get lol. I thought I would sign up on here to see if I could clear a few things up, maybe get some advise on do's and don'ts and suggestions on what equipment to buy. I'm going about this slowly, going to pick things up as I go. Then when I got what need, start the setup.

    Re: Newbie

Welcome VB! Glad you found Reefland! I'm still fairly new to marine tanks (less than a year) and I've learned a great deal from these forums. There's a ton a excellent information in the stickies and past threads. If you're like me, you'll end up reading all of the stickies in all of the forum categories. I've read most of them at least twice and still find myself browsing through em for reference purposes.
Great job on deciding to do the research before jumping into it! There's so much to learn that taking your time to understand what you're doing and why you're doing it will make thing so much easier in the long run.
Feel free to ask questions about anything you don't understand. There are a bunch of great people here that are always willing to help.
Be careful though, this hobby is addicting!
Again, Welcome to this great hobby and welcome to Reefland!
