restaurant in San Fransisco
Next month we'll be spending 8 days on my friends' sailboat (50 footer) in Vallejo. As a Thank You gift we'd like to get them a gift cert to a restaurant that has really good seafood. Does anybody have any recommendations? I'd like it to be not horribly expensive, preferably in the northern part of San Fransisco (altho if it's truely wonderful, location central or south is OK), and would make getting a gift cert easier if they have a web site.
TIA ![]()

Sorry, I only know the North... Now if you wanted something in the Sonoma or Napa areas... Then I could be of help.
You might wish to check out Esquire's site. They often run a best resturant issue once a year (http://www.esquire.com) and there is always one in the city.

Might wanna try Alioto's on Fisherman's Wharf....I hear that place is pretty nice, although I haven't eaten there, as I'm allergic to seafood....but it's pretty popular, been a mainstay of SF for quite a while....
