too many messed up orders w/ no good customer service. also, sent a shipment out to me that i didn't order and they won't refund my cc.

Why did you accept an order you didn't make?
I would have refused the order at the door and had it sent back. After the refusal, if they still billed my credit card then I would dispute the charge with the CC people. If you accepted the order, you may have problems, but I would try the dispute with the CC if you didn't order it.

ok here is the deal. i discussed POSSIBLY placing an order w/ them. i have had orders in the past ship w/out everything in them. so i called to make sure they had on hand what i wanted. i told the guy that i would call or email later in the week and let them know if i wanted to place that order. well, the next day i get phone call from my roomie when i was at work that i had a package from the company and he thought it was live fish. i was like what the hell, had to take off early and come home. this was about 5pm, usually you get you next day air live fish packages at 10-12am. so it was like 5-7hrs late because they tried to ship to my old address, and i moved and they didn't have my new address. the fish were in bad shape but i saved all of them.
so my roomie accepted the fed ex order. i don't know how i can get around that. basically if i dispute it...they are gonna say that they don't ship out w/out orders, you accepted it, and you have the fish in your tank right now....sorry no refund. i called and chewed the living hell out of the guy...he said the piece of paper must have gotten into the order box and that is why i got them. he admitted he screwed up but he no longer works there. so i called last month and explained the situation and after many many minutes of convincing the "new" guy said it would be refunded....so i look on my statement this month...and no credit. i call them up and he says the reviewed it and they can't credit it because "we don't ship out stuff w/out orders and you accepted it and it is in your tank now" they never called emailed or nothing about the change in crediting. so the guy LIED to me that he already credited it. i chewed him out for like 20min and told him what a pile of **** i thought the company and customer service was...pull your head out of your ass and get your poop in a group...damn i am pissed. i don't think i will win the dispute since they claim i ordered and someone accepted it. SO NEVER NEVER CALL, EMAIL, OR EVER CONTACT THEM ABOUT ANYTHING!! i am so pissed right now later Lunchbucket |

Regardless, contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. They could care less about company policy.
At the VERY least, they will temporarally remove the charge until the dispute is settled. Mark |
