I went to California on Aug. 31st. on American Airlines and was scheduled to return the morning of Sept. 11th. Yes, THAT Sept. 11th. and THAT airline.

My return flight was cancelled!!! And since the airline decided to cancel at least 25% of all their flights and 50% of all their flights out of Sacramento, the earliest they could give me, once they resumed flying, was Sept. 19th. (8 days late!!!).

My flight to California arrived an hour late due to equipment failure (unable to pressurize the aircraft) and my return flight from California arrived more than an hour late (in addition to the 8 day delay) due to computer failure--unable to fuel the aircraft or transmit flight plans to the flight crew!!!

Well, at least I wasn't flying out of Boston.

Later,

Ninong

George,

Welcome Back!

Glad to here your travels were at least “safe”

My business partner was in Dallas that week. He had to drive back to Denver in a Ford Excursion (with dark windows)

Regards,

Scott Passe
