Thumbs down Whats the best way to ruin a weekend??

Ok, yesterday in gym I was working out, I was doing a normal ruotine but a little rushed. I should have noticed that there was something wrong when I was having trouble benching 170 (my norm.) but I kept going on, by the end of the period, I was extremely dizzy, and was having trouble standing. by the time i got to the nurses office, i couldnt breath normally, and was in extreme pain. one thing led to another and I spent the day in the hospital! Im still feeling the effects of yesterday, I can barely walk, its horrible. I had to take a catscan, and a MRI (i never knew how bad claustrophobia can be!!) wwell, wish me a speedy recovery.

Mark,

OK, I wish you a speedy recovery. Did they ever figure out what the problem is?

Yes, I know what you mean about MRI's... they are not much fun... also, extremely NOISY! I have had 4 MRI's and 3 CT scans in the past 6 months and will undergo them again next month (every other month).

Regards,

Ninong

they never figured out what is wrong. they suspected that it was an inner ear infection, which explains the vertigo, and head pains, allong w ith sever food poisoning, which explains the stomach pains. my exercising just activated it...

I'm thinking that a brain biopsy would be in order. You had the classic geriatric disorder "WADAO." (Weak and dizzy all over, or as the old Scandanavians around here say it, "Veak and dissy.")

I have to go to my doctor (which is kind of like a hospital) this week, to determine if I need any more testing.

They scared the hell out of me when I was in the ambulance and they said it could have been a mild stroke! Because at one point, my whole body was numb!

well, its all some really weird stuff! I was so wek at the hospital that when they were examining my coordination, and reflexes i was having a real hard time! Im already feeling better, but the dizziness and headaches wont go away!
