At least you were able to identify the thing behind the fish print as your ex-wife.

You guys are a scream!!!

Hmmm moving to a new house next week and I cant help but wonder how the fish are going to take to being moved. Any tips?

Hi Evilwife, welcome to Reefland you can pick up some big bins to hold water in from Walmart. I got two 30 gal. bins with covers for about $10 bucks...

There's no Walmart in Melbourne, Australia? come on! I'd start sending letters In that case, you might want to use a couple of large coolers, or new trash bins (rubber/plastic)...burlap sacs lined with Heafty Trash Bags

you are officially one of us now you too can spend countless hours perusing, posting and chatting on reefland
now ,need more info on youre move, how far is it?alot of poeple might suggest large containers and battery operated air pumps, but imo you can probly just bag everything up(or use whatever is convenient).

Hey Evil_Wife!

I think I was married to you once!

I love Australia. The Alps are just beautiful.

Talking Hi there

You think you may have been married to me once!! lol Was I a nicer girl then?? I supposed I fit the profile of most women evil versus good!! We have got a move of about 4 km which is not that far, just trying to work out the most efficient way to move the water and corals. I suggested bagging the coral up but gary (angel101) had some other brilliant idea, but I cant remember what it was now.

He has a 4 foot tank which is packed with corals and has about 6 or 7 fish in it. He was throwing around the idea of putting all the water into containers and moving it that way but they are $30 for a 20 litre drum. Its a pain in the ____ when it comes down to moving these tanks and when they break down , other than that I guess there kinda funky!

I wonder what the new kitten will think of those pretty yummy fish!

Like most Evil Wives, you started out nice, agreeable and willing, remember?

Look for large RubberMaid brand containers at the local "Best & Less."

And your point would be????? lol

I am still nice and agreeable and at times willing! Meanie!

We are moving to Ferntree gully from boronia on friday. His majesty has been to a supplier to get 6 empty water carriers and 4 full ones for the move of the beloved tank.
I woke him bright and early to organise this and when he came home he came home bearing only 2 filled water containers. What are you doing , I asked?

He apparently forgot what he went there for. Talk about jack trading the cow for beans!!!

I quess this too can be labeled as a "fish thing" that guys just do. Must have got swept away what with all those alluring fish swimming around him!

We now have somehow acquired another tank which is set up in our dinning room ready to swap tanks in some master plan to move everything. Sometimes I fear I am next to be moved!! I will await eagerly to see if a tank indeed appears in my bedroom!!

I feel sometimes it is far better off not to judge 'The Great One' in his fine decision making and purely sit and lovingly compliment him on his extrodinary fishy skills!

Smile as a matter of fact

I do have sisters, three of them and none more aquainted with reef tanks than moi!

All jokes aside I do show an interest in this hobby and have read and learnt quite alot in the three years Ive been married to a reef junkie.

Having three kids prohibits me from doing too much with it (such as cleaning any slimy cack off and other glorious jobs) thank god I have to do that with two of the youngest as it is.

My favourite corals are the purple acropora and the elegance coral. My pet fish are a yellow tang and a flame angel. As with the "people" in the house the fish also associate me with feeding them and put on a great 'Oh my god I'll starve if you dont feed me now act'. Actually my husband does this too!
